Responsible Gambling

Self-Test

Are you at risk of problem gambling?

The following questions are guidelines to help you assess your gambling patterns. Answering them honestly can provide first indications of problem gambling.

Take the self-test and answer "yes" or "no" to the questions below:

  • Do you constantly think about gambling?
  • Do you have trouble concentrating on things other than gambling?
  • Do you neglect your work / family / friends / hobbies to have more time to gamble?
  • Are you in a bad mood or irritable when you can’t gamble?
  • Do you want to make up for losses or failures as quickly as possible?
  • You can't stop after a win and always want more?
  • Do you consistently gamble away more money than you had planned?
  • Have you ever gambled until you ran out of money?
  • Have you ever borrowed money or taken out loans to continue gambling as usual?
  • Have you ever stolen money to be able to gamble?
  • Do you hide from friends and family how often you gamble or how much you lose?
  • Do you often have a guilty conscience after gambling?
  • Do you want to positively influence your mood by gambling and forget worries, anger and frustration as well as avoid conflicts?

If you have honestly answered at least one question with "yes", it is possible that you show signs of problem gambling. In this case, we recommend for you to seek more detailed clarification.

You can find another shorter self-test on the Cambridge Health Alliance website. All answers will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to ODDSET GmbH.
