Limits are a good tool for dealing responsibly with your betting expenses and your betting behavior. A distinction must be made between the cross-provider limits and the provider-related limits.

Cross-provider monthly Deposit Limit (LUGAS-Limit)

LUGAS is the the national gambling control system, which is administered by the responsible supervisory authority, the German Gambling Authority of the Federal States (GGL). This also includes the so-called limit file for monitoring the cross-provider deposit limits and applies to all licensed gambling providers in Germany.

You set the LUGAS limit when you register. If you have already set it with another provider, you can keep it.

An increase of the limit above 1.000 EUR per month is permitted in exceptional cases after certain requirements have been met. For this purpose, the necessary financial opportunities must be proven in a suitable and verifiable manner; this is done by an (automatic) financial check.

If you have a LUGAS limit of over 1.000 EUR, you will also be set a monthly loss limit and a stake limit due to regulatory requirements. The loss limit corresponds to 20% of the set stake limit.

Provider-related Limits

You also have the option of setting provider-related daily, weekly or monthly limits for your account.

This allows you to set your own limits for your betting behavior at ODDSET.

Deposit limit

With the deposit limit, you can set a daily, weekly or monthly upper limit for your deposits. Once you have reached this limit, no further deposits are possible in the respective period.

You can set your personal deposit limit here at any time.

Stake limit

With the stake limit you can set a daily, weekly or monthly upper limit for your stakes. Once you have reached this limit, you will not be able to place any more bets during that period. This also applies if you have mainly won with your stakes.

You can adjust your personal stake limit at any time here.

Loss limit

With the loss limit you can set a daily, weekly or monthly upper limit for your losses. Winnings are offset against the loss limit. You can adjust your personal loss limit here.

Validity for the limits mentioned above

Please note that a reduction of a limit will be implemented immediately by the system. An increase in a limit is only effectively implemented in the system after seven days in accordance with legal regulations.

• The daily limit runs from 00:00 to 23:59.
• The weekly limit runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59.
• The monthly limit runs from 00:00 on the first day of the month until 23:59 on the last day of the month.
